Job Summary

Scott Park Group is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor / Scheduler responsible for preparing accurate quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and coordination with internal teams and the Perth office.

The role ensures all project requirements are aligned with client specifications and Australian standards where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review tenders, contracts, structural, and construction plans in preparation for quantity requirements

  • Liaise with QS Assistant, Prestart, Drafting, and relevant personnel to ensure document consistency

  • Perform cost analysis and quantity take-off for assigned projects/clients

  • Assist QS Assistant in addressing supervisor and supplier queries

  • Revise quantities and costs due to variations, supplier changes, and hitlist queries

  • Update and maintain the Quants Pad and Bill of Quantities (BOQ)

  • Coordinate closely with the Perth office regarding hitlists, corrections, clarifications, and document ambiguities

  • Double-check the work of other Schedulers for accuracy

  • Conduct thorough self-checking before submission

  • Perform other duties assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

  • Good English communication skills

  • Scheduling experience for building in Western Australia

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience

  • At least 2 years experience with Australian building standards
